Functional ERP Consultant (Hospitality Sector)
Position Overview
Netex Technologies is seeking an experienced Functional Consultant to support the development of a Hotel ERP System. This role is purely functional and is intended for professionals who can define hotel business functions clearly and accurately for software developers.
The successful candidate will act as the key link between hotel operations and the ERP development team, ensuring that hotel workflows are correctly translated into system functionality.
Key Responsibilities
· Act as the functional bridge between hotel users and ERP developers.
· Analyze and understand end‑to‑end hotel operational processes.
· Define, document, and validate functional requirements, workflows, and use cases for the Hotel ERP.
· Provide clear functional specifications to developers to support accurate system development.
Cover core hotel functional areas including:
· Front Office & Reservations
· Housekeeping
· Food & Beverage
· Purchasing & Stores
· Finance, Cost Control & Reporting
· Maintenance & Engineering
· Review developments to ensure alignment with hotel operational requirements.
· Support functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation.
· Assist with functional documentation, user guidance, and training support.
· Support implementation and resolve functional issues during rollout.
Candidate Profile
· Proven experience as a Functional Consultant / Business Analyst in hotel ERP or hospitality systems.
· Strong hands‑on knowledge of hotel operations (mandatory).
· Prior involvement in ERP system development or implementation for hotels.
· Ability to define business functions clearly and guide developers accurately.
· Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
· Ability to work closely with both technical teams and hotel operational users.
· Structured, detail‑oriented, and process‑driven mindset.
Qualifications
· Degree or professional qualification in IT, Business Analysis, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
· ERP or hospitality systems exposure will be a strong advantage.
